Meet Digital Sham: The Voice Behind the Beats

Introducing Shamarie Bogle, widely known as Digital Sham, a Jamaican artist, songwriter, and producer with an impressive journey in music. Music has been a lifelong companion for Digital Sham, starting in his early years when his uncle, a sound system operator, introduced him to the art of deejaying. Sham’s love for the microphone began when his uncle gave him a crate to stand on while performing, allowing him to shine in front of a crowd.

From his time at New Providence Primary School, it was clear that Sham had something special. He would turn classrooms into mini-concerts, with his friends tapping out rhythms on desks as he showcased his DJ skills. By grade four, he and a friend created his first track, "Music a Weh Mi Love," a fitting anthem for his budding passion.

His musical journey evolved at Papine High School, where Sham expanded his talents to creating beats. This opened up new opportunities, as he began producing tracks for both himself and fellow DJs. Drawing inspiration from legends like Bounty Killer, Vybz Kartel, Buju Banton, and Shabba Ranks, Digital Sham sharpened his craft and developed a unique sound that’s ready to set the stage ablaze.

Now, Digital Sham is taking his talents to the next level as he builds his career in the industry, blending Jamaican roots with modern beats and lyrics. Keep an ear out—this is one artist who’s on the rise, bringing a fresh voice and powerful beats to the stage.
